Welcome to the Griffith University Commerce Society [GUCS]!

 

Mid-2017 we saw the formation of GUCS following the merger of our long-standing Griffith University Student Accounting Association (GUSAA) and the Economics and Finance Student Association (EFSA). Despite our infancy, we have already witnessed increased growth in traffic and interest to GUCS events; in addition to immense support from our sponsors and the industry - which, without, no student society could thrive.

As GUCS' newly elected president, my goals for 2018 are to work alongside our executive team and industry partners to make GUCS one of the most proactive, well-organised, and strongest source of student representation at Griffith University. My hopes for our members are to foster relationships among the Griffith student body internally, and externally with industry. I hope to enable a platform and opportunity for students to add value to their tertiary education.

Whether it be Commerce, Business, Engineering or beyond, the Griffith University Commerce Society is here to accommodate the students of Griffith University and I am determined to deliver on this promise. 

 

With a special thanks to the founding executive team of GUCS in 2017, my executive team and I are determined to shift GUCS towards bigger and greater things in 2018.
